Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of inflation, interest rates, and life expectancy on Indonesia's mortality rate on insurance premium costs. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Statistic (BPS), Indonesian Bank Publishing, PT Jasa Raharja in Sumbawa Regency, BPJS Employment of Sumbawa Regency, and BPJS Health of Sumbawa Regency. The data analysis method used is panel data regression analysis. Based on the research results, the best model was obtained, which is a random effect model with cross-section effects. The research results show that interest rates have a negative influence on the cost of social insurance premiums in Indonesia, life expectancy rates have a positive influence on the cost of social insurance premiums in Indonesia, and inflation does not significantly affect the cost of social insurance premiums in Indonesia.
