This study aims to develop a first-pass analysis of the conceptual design of a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, which aims to encourage the development of locally made designs and bolster the capability of our nation to monitor and defend its own territory and natural resources. To come up with the conceptual design, the researcher used readily available resources and tools from existing literature for ease of replication of the design project for future researchers. The estimations are done using an up-to-date statistical curve fit equation, which gives an accurate estimation of the final design specifications. The result of the study is used to catalyze research interest pertaining to unmanned aerial vehicle design and utilize drone technology currently available for the benefit of mankind and national development.
