Abstract

The Philippines is a country with a high potential for renewable energy, particularly solar energy. However, the use of solar energy is still limited due to the high cost of solar panels and charge controllers. This study assesses the charging time of different charge controllers in the Philippines. The study found that the charging time of charge controllers varies depending on the type of charge controller, the solar panel, and the battery. The study also found that the charging time can be affected by the weather conditions. The study recommends that the use of charge controllers be considered when planning a solar energy system in the Philippines.
