Abstract
In current system, TPOs have to collect the information and CVs of students and manages them manually. The objective of this project is to develop a web application that can be used by placement cell of a college. The purpose is to design a web application that provides functionalities to perform the activities related to placement services such as displaying student and company details to each other and interface for communication between company and student is our TPO. Student Placement Platform provides three distinct modules for students, placement officers and HR. It enables students to login and view their academic and personal details. They will have their portals to update information as necessary and can view recent and upcoming job postings on their dashboard. Whereas, the Placement Officers will be able to utilize it to manage the student data as well as the hiring company's data concerning the available jobs. The benefits of the system will be to provide enhanced facilities and assemble all the placement related tasks carried out on various platforms to a single application. This will give both the placement officer and students an accurate communication channel and reduces repetitious work that has to be carried out. Additionally, email alerts can be provided to students in case if any new activity takes place which ensures that no important announcement is missed.
