As eries of 2-amino-N-(p-Chlorophenyl) acetamide derivatives (5a ~ 5d) were synthesized by the reaction of 2-bromo-N-(p-Chlorophenyl) acetamide (3) with various amine (4a ~ 4d) at room temperature. The antibacterial activities of all the compounds were evaluated againstfour bacterial strains(Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa andStaphylococcus aureus)and showed moderate to high activities.
