Background: Tuberculosis (TB) remains an important global health problem with worse treatment outcomes in low and middle-income countries. TB treatment outcome is an important indicator to evaluate the effect of tuberculosis prevention and control programs, hence the need for this study. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was conducted among DOTS clinic attendees of ATBUTH, Bauchi State, Nigeria. Secondary data were retrieved by reviewing the medical records of all registered TB patients between March 2018 and March 2022. Data were entered and analysed using SPSS version 25.0 Results: A total of 576 patients were registered at the DOTs clinic of ATBUTH within the study period. Median age of 37 years (IQR 26-52) was obtained. Those who completed treatment were 464 (80.6%), out of which 327 (70.5%) were cured, 1 (0.8%) had treatment failure and 54 (9.4%) died. Fifty nine (10.2%) were HIV positive, all of which were on treatment. Predominant site of infection was pulmonary 352 (61.1%) and the pattern observed showed 2021 recorded the highest case of TB. Conclusion: The study reflects the trend and pattern of tuberculosis management outcome in a tertiary institution with high cure rate. However, the problem of non-compliance persists among patients despite implementation of DOTs.
