There are four major global regions analysed in this study: Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. A nuanced understanding of the global solar landscape is gained through an examination of the state of solar power in each region, identification of trends, identification of driving factors, and exploration of challenges and opportunities. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study examines policies, market dynamics, and socioeconomic factors using both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Solar energy is used in a variety of ways across different regions, even though adoption varies. Policymakers and stakeholders in the solar industry are provided with several recommendations for accelerating global adoption of solar power.
