Abstract

This study examines the convergence of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) and ransomware attacks within hybrid attack strategies. By analyzing the interplay between these two forms of cyber threats, we identify how their combination can amplify the impact on targeted systems. We investigate the techniques and methods used to orchestrate such multivector assaults and assess their effectiveness compared to singular attack vectors. The findings offer insights into the evolving landscape of cyber threats and provide recommendations for enhancing defensive measures against these sophisticated hybrid attacks.
